We are seeing another clear and dry start to the day on the Western Slope. With the clear skies morning lows are still fairly chilly in the 50s for the Grand Valley. Clear sunny skies will stick around all day causing temperatures to quickly warm up for the afternoon hours. Highs will be in the 80s and 90s for the most part, Moab will still break back into the triple digits for the end of the day. Rain chances will be a 0% today even over the mountain tops, and we will not see any rain in the valleys all week long. With an upper level ridge strengthening over the Western Slope, and high pressure at the lower levels, dry stable air will persist over the region for the next few days. Highs will slightly warm up for the end of the work week. We will be close to record highs as we enter September, and hotter than average highs will carry well into next week.
