Get out and play before Winter makes an appearance!

Temperatures will slowly lower through Tuesday as a result of continuous systems passing by the state in the northern latitudes along with an advancing cold front for the beginning of next week. Afternoon temperatures this weekend will still be running warmer than they should, but by next week a second cold front will reinforce/maintain cooler temperatures. Added cloud coverage and a subtle increase in winds will likely be felt Sunday. By Monday, increasing wind and cloud coverage are likely and some light mountain snow is expected with this early week round of unsettled conditions. Some light rain may also fall into Tuesday. The midweek will go cool and quiet, but for the end of next a stronger storm system is expected to put deeper snow on the Colorado mountains and possibly onto many valley floors.
