We will see a few scattered rain showers closer towards the book cliffs this morning. Rain chances in the lower valleys will be nearly zero percent for the day. Grand Junction could see one or two stary drizzles sneak in this morning, but other than that it will be a dry day. Skies look to be clearing up as we progress into the afternoon. Highs will stay on the cool side in the 70s thanks to the recent rainfall. High pressure will clear our skies up for the weekend, and highs will be back in the 80s for the Grand Valley on Saturday and Sunday.
Sunny skies and dry weather will move in for Saturday-Monday, but rain is still in the forecast. A cold front will pass through Tuesday afternoon bringing in plenty of scattered showers for the middle of next week. Once the front passes highs will drop from the 80s to the 60s and 70s. Get ready for a bright and sunny weekend with more cool rain for the middle of next week.
