We are still seeing a few scattered rain showers and thunderstorms this morning on the Western Slope. Most of the early morning showers are over the Book Cliff, but we will still see a few showers drift into the Grand Valley. Rain chances will start to dry up as we move into the afternoon, and we will see clear skies across the Western Slope by this evening. Highs will still be cooler than normal in the mid 70s for the valleys. With sunny skies moving in overnight we will see much cooler morning lows tomorrow. The clear skies will allow us to warm up faster for the afternoon hours. Highs will return to the upper 70s and lower 80s for Friday and the weekend. Sunny conditions and dry weather look to continue through the weekend and into next week on the Western Slope.
