Sunday afternoon is looking near perfect for mid November with mostly clear, dry and seasonal average afternoon temperatures.
The forecast is getting a little more confident in an unsettled pattern developing the days into Thanksgiving. Another cold front is expected to swing through just before next Thursday and there is an indication that a good source region of precipitation (the EPAC/Southern California) will drive a cut-off low pressure system into the Four Corners Region for the same timeframe. As of today this means that the mountain zones will be snowy. This is enough of an indication that vehicular travel should be interrupted for the Tuesday, Wednesday and possibly early Thursday. This forecast will change because the timing is an issue for the energy and the arrival of the precipitation. Regardless, all areas should expect a significate cold blow
