Weather Forecasts

The forecast for the rest of this work week has drying, warming and mostly clear conditions.

Drought monitor was updated today and the tri-county area of the Western Slope is holding steady with moderate and severe drought conditions. This has been an improvement (the past three weeks) since the summer season. Grand Junction and Montrose both have rain deficits near .30″ The next opportunity for rain will be the middle of next week. Until the next round of unsettled weather moves through the region, afternoon temperatures will continue to push into the 60s. Temperature records exist in the middle and lower 70s, no threat to tie or break. Mostly clear conditions will also lend great viewing opportunities for planets and the Taurid meteor shower.
