Near record warmth will continue for the Western Slope!

Warmer than average temperatures will continue through the beginning of next week. The forecast for the next few days will experience a 10-15 degree warm up. The seasonal average high temperature is in the lower 40s this time of the year. December begins tomorrow and there is very low chance for statewide storm developments within the first weekend of the memory making month. There will be a series of storms traversing the northern latitudes this weekend and early next week. This movement should loosen the grip of the current weather maker, a ridge of high pressure, and open the window to storminess in Colorado. By the middle and possibly end of next week.
