Weather Forecasts

Fall will be returning to Western Colorado.

Temperatures in this post frontal environment are about twenty degrees cooler compared to Monday afternoon. Light rain fell for Montrose and Grand Junction (just after midnight into early this morning) as this current system swept through the region. The mountain snow was light to moderate and as such, the Winter Weather Advisory will expire at midnight or earlier Tuesday night for the northern zones. The rest of this week will be slowly warming up with calm wind speeds and drying conditions. The ruling weather pattern is a ridge of high pressure and before the end of this week, the temperatures should return to the seasonal averages in the middle 60s. Next round of active weather should be increasing clouds and wind for Saturday/Sunday followed by another round of rain and snow for early next week.
