Another Red Flag Warning today, the region should achieve wind gusts greater than 35 mph with very dry conditions in place. Afternoon temperatures for all areas will continue their hotter than average trend.

Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate!!! The end of this week will have the return of a stronger ridge of high pressure and that will translate into several more days of heat that should exceed the triple digits for Grand Junction and the middle/upper 90s for Montrose. Records for Grand Junction this weekend are near 105° and our forecast highs will be close. The upcoming weekend could also have more of those mountain storms on the move.
