Grand Junction averages 75° and Montrose 73° this time of the year and an upper level ridge that started expanding into the region will make sure temperatures slowly rise above the norm.

The warm, dry and mostly clear conditions, courtesy of the ridge, will remain intact through the end of this week. No record heat is expected, but let’s call it mild/warm. A dry pattern also remains unchanged through early October.
